Cheap lap tops are easy to find these days. Mine was a bargain and it gets used every day. I have a desktop that I use for most of the day, but having a lap top is great as it allows me to sit in front of the TV whilst surfing the internet. I can watch my favorite sports whilst checking out the sports news online! It's also great for one of those 'I know them from somewhere' moments whilst watching a show. Just remember, the keyboards are generally smaller, so people with larger fingers may struggle!

I actually got my cheap lap tops from eBay. If you've never visited eBay you are definately missing out. In these difficult economic times we all need to try to save money where we can. On eBay it's easy find resellers selling brand new lap tops for much cheaper than you would get them at your local store. You also have people who are selling their used or nearly new lap top for significant discounts. I bought my laptop used, only 6 months old, for less than half the price of a brand new unit and it hardly had a mark on it.

If eBay isn't your thing, why not try Amazon? They started as an online book store, but these days you can buy just about anything you need from them. As a result of their success, Amazon can offer great deals over and above what you would find anywhere else.
