Cheap Dad

Thank you for visiting my website, my name is Pete and I am Cheap Dad! I got that name from my lovely wife and our two children, on account of my being quite tight with money. I am a great believer of shopping around to find the best deal, whether it's for a new pair of shoes or for a holiday.

I have been using the internet to buy things I want for over 10 years now. I have found it the best place to pick up bargains. I don't see why I should have to pay high street prices when I can sit in the comfort of my home, surf the internet and save money.

However, I must admit that with the growth of the internet we have now got a far wider choice than we used to have. There are so many places to look for the best deal that you can get lost in it all. Where are the best deals, which sites should I stay clear of, am I getting the best deal?

These questions prompted me to start CheapDad, so that I could put all the information I found in one place, so that next time I am looking for cheap plane tickets I willl no where to look. It also enabled me to let my family and friends know where to get the best deals, as I have already done all the research.

What I have also started to do is post reviews of products I find. I especially love technology, I am a bit of a geek, so I read an awful lot of information on this subject. For example, I have owned an iPhone since they first came out, so when I heard about the iPhone 4 I was straight on the internet researching everything there is to know about it. I now have the iPhone 4, and as it has been out for a while now I have found some good places for you to get a good deal. I have also posted a review of it, letting you know my thoughts.
